1 loaf | Bridgford Frozen Ready-Dough®, thawed |
12 slices | Bridgford Pepperoni |
3 tbsp | prepared pizza sauce of choice |
2-3 | bell peppers (different colors for variety) |
2 cups | shredded Mozzarella cheese |
2 cups | olive oil |
Thaw loaf according to package instructions*. Slice bell peppers into small strips, resembling spider legs; set aside. Divide thawed loaf into 3 equal pieces. On a lightly floured surface, roll each piece out into approximately 8-inch circles. Transfer to lightly greased cookie sheet(s); arrange 3-4 inches apart. Pierce dough several times with the tines of a fork. Bake in a preheated 375° oven for 5 minutes. Remove from oven. Increase oven temperature to 450°. Spread approximately 1 tablespoon of pizza sauce over each crust. Sprinkle with grated Mozzarella cheese, and top with 3-4 pepperonis (spider bodies), leaving room for bell pepper legs. Brush crust edges with olive oil. Bake until cheese is almost melted and edges are slightly golden (approximately 5 minutes). Remove from oven and arrange 4 bell pepper legs on either side of each pepperoni body. Return to oven for 5 more minutes, or until cheese is bubbly and crust is brown. Allow pizzas to slightly cool, slice, and serve!
*Follow the microwave thawing instructions on the reverse side of the package to cut your prep time in half!
