1 loaf | Bridgford Frozen Ready-Dough®, thawed or |
1 pkg | Bridgford Frozen Parkerhouse Rolls Dough, thawed |
1 | egg, well beaten |
½ lb | lean ground beef (form into 8-12 patties and cook thoroughly) |
If using loaf, cut into 8-12 pieces. Using a little flour on hands, shape each dough piece into a ball. Place dough piece or rolls on greased baking sheet 1½-inches apart. Brush with egg. Sprinkle with sesame seeds, poppy seeds, dried onion, or cheese, if desired. Let rise until double in size. Bake at 375° for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from pan immediately and cool on rack. When cool, split with a serrated knife. (Buns can be made 1-2 days in advance. If making earlier than that, freeze until needed.) Fill buns with cooked patties and your choice of condiments.
