1 loaf | Bridgford Frozen Ready-Dough®, thawed or |
1 pkg | Bridgford Frozen Parkerhouse Style Rolls Dough, thawed or |
1 pkg | Bridgford Frozen White Rolls Dough, thawed |
3 tbsp | melted butter or margarine |
½ cup | granulated sugar |
1 tsp | grated orange zest (outer peel of the orange) |
Cut thawed loaf into 36 equal pieces. (if using Parkerhouse Roll Dough, cut each roll in half. If using White Rolls, cut each roll into 3 pieces.) Using a little flour on fingers, shape each piece of dough into a ball. Set aside. Mix together sugar and orange zest. Dip dough pieces in melted butter and roll in sugar mixture. Place 3 coated dough balls in each cavity of a lightly greased muffin pan(s). Let rise until double in size. Bake in a preheated 375° oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and pan immediately to cool on wire rack. If desired, drizzle with icing:
Mix together 2 cups powdered sugar with 2 tablespoons milk or water and 1/2 teaspoon orange juice.
