2 | Bridgford Parkerhouse Roll Dough pieces, thawed* |
1 tablespoon | granulated sugar |
¼ teaspoon | ground cinnamon |
2 teaspoons | melted butter |
Lightly grease one, 7 oz. oven-safe ramekin (2 x 4.25-inches). Remove 2 rolls from package and return the remaining to freezer. Let the 2 rolls sit out to thaw. In a small bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon; set aside. Once the dough is thawed enough to cut, divide each roll in half to make 4 pieces of dough. Shape each dough piece into a ball. Dip each ball in butter and roll in cinnamon/sugar. Place in ramekin. Sprinkle with any remaining sugar. Let rise until double in size. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 15-18 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool. Drizzle with icing, if desired (recipe below).
Icing: 2 tablespoons powdered sugar mixed with ½ teaspoon of milk or water.
*If using a full bag of Parkerhouse Rolls (24, 1 oz. dough pieces), arrange 12 ramekins evenly spaced on a baking sheet, and proceed with baking instructions above.
