1 loaf | Bridgford Frozen Ready-Dough®, thawed |
3 oz | softened cream cheese |
3 tbsp | canned diced jalapeños (or diced green chilies), drained |
Salt and pepper | |
½ cup | shredded Jack cheese |
2 tbsp | melted butter |
Preheat oven to 425°. Lightly grease sheet pan(s). On a lightly floured surface, roll loaf of dough to 22″ x 4″ rectangle. Set aside. In a medium size bowl, mix together softened cream cheese with jalapeños, salt and pepper. Spread this mixture evenly over dough, leaving a 1-inch border of dough around the outside. Top cream cheese mixture evenly with Jack cheese. From long end, roll up dough tightly in jelly roll fashion. Seal seams. Slice dough into 1/2-inch slices and place 1-2 inches apart, swirl side up on prepared pans. Brush with melted butter. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until browned. Remove from oven and pan to cool slightly on wire rack and serve.
