1 package | Bridgford Frozen Parkerhouse or White Roll Dough, thawed* |
½ cup | melted butter |
1 cup | granulated sugar |
1 teaspoon | cinnamon |
½ cup | fresh blackberries |
¼ cup | blackberry preserves |
Lightly grease a fluted tube pan (such as Bundt) or cake pan; set aside. In a small bowl, mix sugar with cinnamon; set aside. In a small saucepan or in a microwave safe dish, heat preserves until liquid; set aside. Place Bridgford rolls on a lightly floured surface. Take one piece of thawed roll dough and dip into melted butter and then roll into sugar mixture. Place ½ of coated pieces of dough evenly in prepared pan. Sprinkle with fresh berries and drizzle with heated preserves. Top with remaining coated pieces of dough. Top with any remaining butter and sugar. Place pan in warm area and let rise until double in size. Bake in a preheated 350°F oven for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and invert pan onto large plate. Let cool and then slice or pull apart with fingers.
*Can substitute with Bridgford Frozen Ready-Dough®. Use 1½ loaves of thawed dough. Divide whole loaf into 16 equal pieces and half loaf into 8 pieces. Proceed with recipe above.
