1 loaf | Bridgford Frozen Ready-Dough®, thawed |
¼ cup | butter, softened |
2 cloves | garlic, minced |
½ cup | sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded |
¼ cup | fresh parsley, finely chopped |
Lightly grease an 8 x 4 inch loaf pan; set aside. On a lightly floured surface, roll dough to a 16 x 8 inch rectangle; set aside. In a small bowl, mix together butter and garlic until smooth. Cover surface of dough with butter. Sprinkle cheese and parsley evenly over butter. With a pizza slicer or very sharp knife, cut dough into three long strips (16-inch direction). Stack strips so that they are evenly placed on top of on top of one another. Slice this width-wise into six slices to make six square stacks. Place each stack, slice-side-up, on its side in prepared loaf pan. Let rise until double in size. Bake in a preheated 375° oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and pan to cool on wire rack.
