1 loaf | Bridgford Frozen Ready-Dough®, thawed |
10 | eggs |
½ cup | chopped onion |
½ cup | chopped green pepper |
1 clove | fresh garlic, minced |
salt and pepper to taste | |
3 cups | refrigerated or frozen hash browns |
4-6 links | low-fat turkey Italian sausage, cooked and sliced into ½-inch slices |
1 cup | Monterey Jack cheese, shredded |
1 cup | Cheddar cheese, shredded |
Spray a 12-inch round pizza pan with nonstick cooking spray. On a lightly floured surface, roll out thawed dough to a 12-inch round circle. Place in pizza pan, pressing dough to corners. Prick dough several times with a fork. Bake in a 425° oven for 15 minutes. Remove from oven, set aside. Spray a large fry pan with nonstick cooking spray. In a large bowl, whip eggs together with a whisk, season with salt and pepper (and hot sauce if desired). Scramble eggs until cooked through, yet slightly wet; set aside. Re-spray pan with nonstick cooking spray. Brown the onions, peppers and garlic over medium-low heat. Add the hash browns and cook until golden brown. Season with salt and pepper; set aside. Cover pizza crust with the cooked scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, sausages, Jack and Cheddar cheese. Return to oven to cook for an additional 7-10 minutes or until cheese has melted. Slice into 12 equal slices and serve.
