Alphabet Sticks

If using loaf of dough, divide into 12 equal slices (rolls do not need to be divided). Roll each piece of dough into a thin rope 7-10 inches in length. Shape rope into desired letters or numerals (some letters might require more dough). Place letters on a greased baking sheet 4-5 inches apart. Brush dough with melted butter. Let rise until puffy (30 minutes). Bake at 375° for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and pan to cool on wire rack.

Varieties:
Cheese: Sprinkle with shredded cheese before baking.
Cinnamon: Mix 1 cup sugar with 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Sprinkle on buttered dough.
